Challenge: To help new managers adjust to Compuware’s culture, management practices and policies as quickly as possible
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Blue Sun Works led the development of an intranet-based performance support tool that put important information for new managers in one convenient location, and which became an integral part of a new manager orientation program. Compuware's satisfaction with this project led to the award of several subsequent projects.
Challenge: To reduce the ramp-up time required for new product salespeople to learn about Compuware products
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Blue Sun Works interviewed new and experienced salespeople across the North American sales organization. This study helped identify their training needs and performance expectations. As a result of this study’s findings, Compuware awarded Blue Sun Works a subsequent project to develop a prototype online learning system that leads new product salespeople through a 12-week self-paced blended learning program.
Challenge: To train regional managers on new sales staff performance management tools
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Blue Sun Works assisted Compuware subject matter experts in developing a four-hour training class. This class, currently in use by Compuware, helps regional managers understand and apply the tools in a new performance management process.
