Industry: Healthcare – Long-term Care
Challenge: To develop a new brand identity and web site for one of the largest nursing home chains in Michigan
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Blue Sun Works developed a new brand identity and web site for MediLodge that was unlike any other nursing home’s marketing approach. After analyzing the competition, we developed a site that surpassed all others in terms of interface design and content, and our somewhat quirky and light-hearted imagery was welcomed as a refreshing new approach. Blue Sun Works was subsequently awarded 18 additional web site projects for each of the company’s nursing home facilities, as well as a contract for on-going maintenance support.
Client: MediLodge of Richmond
Challenge: To develop a web site that reflects the MediLodge of Richmond philosophy of caring for people who have led interesting, vital lives.
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Blue Sun Works utilized images of a woman’s life—from young adulthood, through childrearing, to the joy of grandparenting—to convey the richness of a person’s life. Accompanying text describes how MediLodge of Richmond understands, appreciates, and treasures the lives and personalities of the people in their care.
Client: MediLodge of Sterling Heights
Challenge: To create a web site that reflects the fun, lively, and quirky atmosphere of the facility
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Using images of residents and staff at MediLodge of Sterling Heights, Blue Sun Works developed a web site that shows residents enjoying their lives—with visiting animals, at special events, with their families, and over sumptuous meals. The result is a web site that attracts both potential customers and employees, resulting in new hires of people who wanted to work there because the web site made it look like a fun place to be. Client: Regent Street of West Bloomfield
Challenge: To develop the brand identity and web site for an upscale assisted living center in Metro Detroit
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Blue Sun Works utilized the facility’s existing logo and combined it with the appearance of a high-end retail advertisement to highlight Regent Street’s comfort, style, and exclusivity. The web site’s expansion of this brand has become the focal point of Regent Street’s latest advertising campaign. Blue Sun Works continues to maintain this web site today.
Client: Alternatives for Girls (AFG)
Industry: Non-profit
Challenge: To develop a web site that complemented a non-profit organization’s existing brand identity
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Blue Sun Works recognized a need to support a noble cause in Detroit—the care and nurturing of homeless girls and young women. On a volunteer basis, we created a web site for AFG that helps spread the word about their good works. Blue Sun Works currently maintains the web site and supports the organization in numerous ways, including our recent “Frittata and Friends” breakfast benefit held in September 2005.
Client: Muskegon Community Health Project (MCHP)
Challenge: To develop a web site for an organization dedicated to improving the health concerns of residents in the Muskegon area
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: MCHP came to Blue Sun Works with the desire to create a web site that resembled the Alternatives For Girls site that we developed in 2002. We combined their existing logo, brand, and publication style into a web site that reflects the character of their organization. Blue Sun Works continues to maintain this web site today.
Client: Grosse Pointe Dermatology Associates (GPDA)
Industry: Healthcare
Challenge: To create “the best dermatology web site in Michigan”
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: Blue Sun Works worked with the doctors at GPDA understand their business, clientele and the image they wanted to project through their web site—professional, personal, and progressive. In addition, we took a look at other dermatology web sites in Michigan and the US. The result was a very attractive web site that reflects the people-focused nature of GPDA’s business, and the high quality care that patients can expect. Blue Sun Works continues to maintain this web site today.
Client: cynoSure Financial
Industry: Insurance
Challenge: To create an engaging and interesting web site that promoted their complex insurance products
Blue Sun Works’ Solution: CynoSure Financial provides product enhancements and benefit services for the automotive, health, home, internet, membership, travel and warranty markets. They approached Blue Sun Works with interest in updating their existing site to reflect a more modern image. The end result was a significant improvement that has received many compliments from the client and their customers.
